The year is 2010. The first Master Force Leadership Academy location is in Chicago. Imagine standing in front of you a solid brick building made of rose colored lime stone, beautifully sculptured with architectural features reminiscent of ancient Egyptian artifacts. The landscaping surrounding the huge massive structure is radiant in color, neatly manicured and well nurtured. Although the building is beautiful within itself, the true sparkle is happening inside.
Welcome to the Master Force Leadership Academy. As we enter the ergonomically lit foyer there are plants, trees, blossoming flowers, a meticulously kept aquarium with colorful fish swimming, while soft melodic music gently stirs in surround sound. In the background we can hear the laughter of children as the buzz of learning takes place throughout the building in each learning Center. Learning Centers are designed to stimulate the genius within each child. There are 16 separate modules for students to experience, each being enhanced by the genius factor curriculum that we refer to as “The MARV Technique” –Meditation, Affirmation, Relaxation and Visualization. The intention is to inspire the right brain to ignite the left brain thereby creating the possibility of whole brain functionality. There are no walls, just wide open space creating a sense of freedom and
possibility for all who enter.
There is the MARV Center where students sit with earphones listening to the Student Visualization for Academic Achievement Meditation CD which was created by Rita C. Stewart. There is the Chi and Martial Arts Center where pre-school children are learning to appreciate the balance between mind and
body/discipline and power through yoga, qi gong, tai chi and/or gung fu. There is the Culinary Arts Center where Top Chefs in the city come to teach children how to prepare and eat meals that are organic in nature, eliminating the use of sugar, white flour, MSG and salt. There is the Cyber Center where high school
students learn to make and use computers from all angles; understanding the functionality and design of both hardware and software. Other Centers include: Performing Arts, Graphic Design, Film, Music, Green Life and Healing Arts. Parents and Elders of the community are “paid volunteers” creating the opportunity for them to learn right along with the children while supporting and encouraging their participation. Our Community Development Workshops are given on a nightly basis where parents can gain skills in childrearing, housekeeping, career development, GED prep, etc.
You experience a sense of peace, beauty, aliveness and order resonating throughout the four levels of this nurturing climate. Children are safe; the environment is clean and colorful. Sound and peace are coexisting.
This is the first Master Force Leadership Academy 2010, providing the turnkey methodology that will allow us to open two (2) more facilities in the Chicagoland area. Seven (7) other Leadership Academies will then be built nationally and internationally in Atlanta, New York, Texas, Iowa, Jamaica, Dubai and Africa. The children that attend our programs will continue to go to public schools as they do now; however they will come to us evenings, weekends, spring, summer and winter breaks to develop their genius.
